MRQ Victoria Point has been supporting the local boating community across Moreton Bay for more than forty years. The unit was established in 1982 and operates between Cleveland and the Logan River, and across to North Stradbroke Island.
Our highly professional team are here to respond to calls for assistance on weekends and public holidays and we have multiple rotating crew rosters to ensure we’re always rescue ready.
Outside of base hours, we provide an after-hours emergency response service and constantly monitor our VHF radio.
Our dedicated crews work hard to develop and maintain their skills to provide support to anyone in danger or distress on the water.
We work closely with other emergency services in the region, including the Qld Water Police on SAR operations, Qld Fire and Rescue and Qld Ambulance Service.
MRQ Victoria Point operates in conjunction with local marine rescue units to provide support to the boating community in the south-east corner. If you require support when travelling in the region outside our area, contact QF 7 Redland Bay, or MRQ Raby Bay.
