As communities across northern Queensland monitor Tropical Cyclone Koji, Marine Rescue Queensland is actively supporting our people on the ground and maintaining a high level of readiness if called upon.
Our teams are in regular contact with volunteer leaders in impacted areas, sharing updates from emergency management partners and ensuring vessels and crews are prepared β with personal and family safety always the priority.
At this stage, no Marine Rescue Queensland activations have been requested, but we remain ready to respond if needed. Please stay informed through official channels and follow advice from the Bureau of Meteorology and local authorities.
